Huddle Privacy Policy

Huddle is a party-games app. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics,
and no tracking. We collect as little as the app can function with, and we
store none of it.
What leaves your device
- Multiplayer play: when you host or join a game with a 4-letter
code, game state (player names you enter, votes, answers) is relayed between the
devices in your room through our server over an encrypted connection. It is held in
memory only for the duration of the room and is never written to storage.
- Catfish (AI game): the persona names, bios, and chat messages in
that game are sent to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic's Claude API to
generate the AI player's replies. We do not store this text. Anthropic processes it
under its commercial terms,
which prohibit training on API data.
Everything else — scores, history, settings — stays on your device. The app works
fully offline apart from the two features above.
What we don't do
- No personal data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.
- No identifiers are collected; nothing sent to the server is linked to you.
- No data is retained after your game room closes.
